Meet our Ro’eh

Ro’eh means Shepherd and comes from the root Seeing. In our fellowship it is rare to find someone standing above another to preach, usually we are all in a circle or group studying together and sharing at each level what is found in the Scriptures. As iron sharpens iron… we are sharpened here. The Ro’eh does take the place of a minister but it is more than that, just like a Shepherd they guard, protect, and guide our fellowship to nourishment that is found in the Scriptures. They make sure Yisrael Yachad is an environment welcoming to the Holy Spirit and a place where each seeking person can come to learn, grow and feel loved.

Ray Nemeth

Ro’eh

Ray and his wife Katie Nemeth have 7 children and one daughter-in-law. They have been seeking truth since they were married in 1995 and came to the understanding of Torah in 2007. They met the Rushing family in 2009 and started organizing Feastivals and Sabbath gatherings with them in Brooksville FL along with many other wonderful families under the Sar Shalom fellowship. The Father brought us together again when the Nemeth’s moved to Tennessee in 2012 while Steve and Mia had also resently moved to the area to be closer to their daughter. Right away we started Yisrael Yachad, gathering in community buildings, parks or homes. AliYah Academy was started soon after in 2014 out of a need for an umbrella/cover school with more religious freedom and more flexibility for different styles of learning. AliYah Academy does not have a statement of faith and allows parents to use methods and resources that work best for their children.
